2020 Ladies Lunch update from Neil Sachse

Thanks to your generous support, the 2020 Neil Sachse Centre Ladies Lunch was a huge success.

The room was full of 500 positive and energetic individuals who truly believe in the vision of the Neil Sachse Centre and our goal of improving the outcomes for those with spinal cord injuries. You can check out some fantastic photos from the day at the Neil Sachse Centre Facebook page.

It’s important to note that the funds raised at this event will enable our Lead Researcher, Dr Ryan Doig, to purchase the costly materials required for our imaging research trial. Swelling around a spinal cord injury can take up to two years to subside, making it currently very hard to treat an injury with confidence until after this time. This trial will allow a world-first image of the spinal cord when it’s first damaged and after two years; previously an impossible task.
